It grew around the Air Force Station and old industrial areas, and today it has wide roads, lakes, schools and a steady flow of new housing. Yelahanka Junction is a major railway station with trains towards Bangalore City and north Karnataka. A suburban rail line is planned along this belt.
An airport metro line along Bellary Road is under construction. Ask for the current station plan before you rely on it.
Kempegowda International Airport is on the same highway, usually well under an hour away outside peak traffic.
Hebbal, Manyata Tech Park and the airport-side business parks are the usual commute points. Check the drive at your own office hours.
